Welcome to Ascend Movement Studio! Our group programs aim to help you understand and optimize your movement options and strategies so you can do more of what moves you with more confidence. We aim to build strength and fitness through movement-focused exercises that will also support mobility, joint and tissue health. Fitness is a byproduct of moving well. Group programs are small, typically with a max number of participants at 6-8. Many programs include an online course and home program to support your movement practice at home. Spring programs are all about preparing for hiking, biking, running, climbing, gardening, golfing, chasing kids and grandkids and our spring programs reflect this. To learn more about the spring schedule and program details see our website: www.ascendmovement.ca. Looking for something a little more individualized? Strength & Conditioning Programs
All of our "strength and conditioning programs" will improve strength and fitness by challenging your movement strategies with a goal to improve movement options. Maximizing your movement potential is the primary goal - most of our programs will be programmed with popular seasonal activities in mind.
All programs are progressive in nature; starting with fundamentals and building in challenge, complexity and concepts over the course of the season.
Individual Movement Assessment/Coaching
At Ascend we use movement assessment to reveal your current movement strategies and establish personalized goals to enhance your movement options and abilities based on your goals and needs. We work budding athletes, weekend warriors, those recovering from injury, and seniors looking to maximize their movement. It's all about elevating your movements, in a way the is meaningful for you.
Kinesiology for ICBC

These sessions remain consistent with Ascend Movement Kinesiology and Movement Coaching services but are billed and reported directly to ICBC. You will need approval for treatment from ICBC so please contact us before booking your first session.
